About Artur

From Brazil to stages around the world.

The official line

I am a keynote speaker, public speaking coach, trainer, Scrum Master, and Agile Coach.

But that was not the original plan.

The story started with printer machines, a promised Java developer role, a move to Belgium with no job, and a growing obsession with how people deliver, communicate, collaborate, and find the courage to speak.

2012

Cleaning printer machines

They said it would be Java developer... 😐

Then I was promoted to help-desk.

2013

Developer, Project Manager, Scrum Master

I became a full-stack developer, which is my diploma.

I became Project Manager of my team.

Soon after that, I became Scrum Master and went down the rabbit hole of improving how we deliver, communicate, and collaborate.

2014

Moved to Belgium

With no job, and a huge hunger for growing!

2015

First talk given

Bitten by the speaking mosquito.

2018

My first keynote!

And paid! I learned that my passion for public speaking is much bigger than my impostor syndrome :)

2022

Helping others speak

I decided to kick the impostor syndrome far away and start helping others in their own public speaking journey by giving 1-1 coaching and group training.

2023

A bigger stage and a bigger challenge

I gave a keynote to 1500+ people.

And... I created a challenge for myself: to develop one new talk per month.

With two extra difficulties: first, always in a different tool or way: one word per slide, one photo per slide, PechaKucha, using flipchart, using Google Slides, using Canva, using only post-its...

Second: to collaborate with at least three speakers I know. Thank you, Chris Stone, Gitte Klitgard, and Johan Decoster!
